CSR-led Lonikand Biodiversity Park by Dr. Elie Organics boosts Pune’s green cover, inspiring love, peace, and humanity.

MUMBAI (India CSR): Dr. Elie Organics, under the visionary leadership of Founder & CEO Dr. Elie, has set a new benchmark in environmental stewardship by fully funding the creation and inauguration of the Lonikand Biodiversity Park as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This impactful project demonstrates Dr. Elie Organics’ unwavering commitment to ecological restoration and sustainable community development.

On the occasion of the grand opening, 1,000 new trees were planted, increasing the park’s total to an impressive 4,000 trees. The event stands as a testament to the power of corporate responsibility in driving positive environmental change.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by renowned actor and green movement advocate Jackie Shroff, whose ‘Ped Lagao’ campaign has inspired countless individuals to engage in tree plantation and environmental awareness.

The park’s development was made possible through a collaborative effort involving Thinksharp Foundation and Lonikand Gram Panchayat with Dr. Elie Organics providing the primary financial support and strategic direction.

The Lonikand Biodiversity Park features a rich variety of medicinal, native, and ornamental trees—including rare medicinal plants, shade-giving native species, and vibrant flowering trees. This diverse selection not only enhances the park’s ecological value but also creates year-round opportunities for educational activities.

Local Zilla Parishad school students played an active role in the plantation drive, learning about biodiversity, environmental challenges, and sustainable solutions. The initiative aims to nurture environmental consciousness and responsibility among the youth.

To guarantee the healthy growth and survival of the trees, several measures have been implemented:

  • Geo-tagging for each tree to ensure proper monitoring
  • Installation of a water tank and irrigation system
  • Fencing and protective infrastructure

Collective Impact for a Greener Future. The success of this initiative is a result of the combined efforts of Dr. Elie Organics, Thinksharp Foundation, Lonikand Gram Panchayat, and the local community. Dr. Elie and his team were instrumental in the plantation of medicinal and other tree species, while Jackie Shroff’s presence and inspiring words energized the event.

Dr.Elie and Thinksharp Foundation Looking Forward more such projects in future.

The Lonikand Biodiversity Park, powered by Dr. Elie Organics’ CSR vision, stands as a model for sustainable, community-driven environmental action. It is poised to become a vital green lung and a living classroom for future generations.

As these saplings grow, the park will continue to symbolize the message that sustainable development and biodiversity conservation are achievable through visionary leadership and collective effort.
