PATNA (India CSR): The IDE Bootcamp 2nd Edition (Phase II) concluded with a grand valedictory session held at the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP). The event celebrated five days of immersive learning, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit, bringing together young innovators, industry experts, and distinguished dignitaries.

Nurturing the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

The IDE Bootcamp, designed to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs, provided participants with hands-on experience in Design Thinking, Problem Identification, Prototyping, and Business Model Development. Through interactive workshops, expert-led sessions, and team-based activities, the bootcamp aimed to transform ideas into viable business ventures.

Dignitaries Grace the Valedictory Session

The valedictory session was graced by the esteemed presence of dignitaries and special guests who played a significant role in the bootcamp’s success. The session saw the gracious presence of Professor (Dr.) Sunil Kumar, Associate Dean at CIMP, Abhishek Ranjan, Nodal Head & Innovation Officer, Innovation Cell, Ministry of Education, and Madan Mohan Sharan Singh, Nodal Head & Manager (IP & Technology Transfer), AICTE, Ministry of Education and Innovation Cell, Govt. of India, Gauri Gopinath and Tejas Jadhav, experts from the Wadhwani Foundation, also remained present during the valedictory session.

Prof. Sunil Kumar on Strengthening the Startup Ecosystem

Prof. Sunil Kumar, Associate Dean, CIMP, expressed his appreciation for the collective efforts that made the bootcamp a success. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s initiative to strengthen the startup ecosystem, emphasizing that bootcamps play a crucial role in this mission. Gauri Gopinath and Tejas Jadhav, experts from the Wadhwani Foundation, also contributed valuable insights, further strengthening the participants’ entrepreneurial acumen.

Insights from Industry Experts

Key speakers and industry experts shared insights on funding strategies, risk assessment, and business scalability, ensuring participants gained practical knowledge to navigate the startup landscape effectively. Shri Abhishek Ranjan invited participants to share their experiences, making the session interactive and engaging. He praised the host, CIMP, and expressed his gratitude.

Special Recognition for Dedicated Efforts

Special recognition was given to Vivek Kashyap, Senior Administrative Officer, for his last-minute arrangements and his team’s dedication to ensuring the flawless execution of the bootcamp. Gauri Gopinath, Co-Founder of Success Mind Mantra, said, “The IDE Bootcamp has been an incredible journey of learning and growth. I am truly inspired by the passion and dedication of the participants and the entire CIMP team. This experience has reinforced my belief in the power of collaborative learning and innovation.”

Prof. Rana Singh on Innovation and Collaboration

Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, said, “Innovation is the key to progress, and the IDE Bootcamp has been a testament to this belief. It is heartening to see young minds come together to solve real-world problems with innovative solutions. The bootcamp has not only enhanced their entrepreneurial skills but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and creativity. We are proud to be part of this transformative initiative for the second time.”

Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer of CIMP, added, “The IDE Bootcamp has been a resounding success. It embodies the government’s vision of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth. We are committed to providing a platform where young innovators can turn their ideas into reality. The bootcamp has been a fantastic learning experience for all involved. We thank AICTE, Ministry of Education and Innovation Cell, Govt. of India for giving us the opportunity to host the program in our campus and also look forward to nurturing more such initiatives in the future.”

Certificates Awarded to Top Innovators

During the valedictory session, certificates were awarded to the top five exhibitors and the best idea from the pitching session. The pitching session was judged by over 15 distinguished jury members from diverse fields, evaluating the innovative ideas of approximately 140 students.

Inspiring Vote of Thanks by Prof. Sunil Kumar

The session concluded with an inspiring Vote of Thanks by Prof. Sunil Kumar, acknowledging the contributions of all dignitaries, speakers, mentors, and participants. He encouraged participants to leverage their newfound knowledge, pursue incubation and funding opportunities, and continue their entrepreneurial journeys.

A Testament to Collaborative Learning and Innovation

The IDE Bootcamp 2nd Edition (Phase II) stood as a testament to the power of collaborative learning and innovation, inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs to turn ideas into impactful ventures.
