Cartoon Watch Magazine Appreciates Rusen Kumar’s Contribution to CSR and Presents Him with a Cartoon

RAIPUR (Chhattisgarh): Rusen Kumar, known for his outstanding contribution to the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), was honored by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, and Editor-in-Chief of Haribhoomi and INH, Dr. Himanshu Dwivedi. The award ceremony was held on 10th September 2024 at Hotel Babylon International, Raipur. On this occasion, Cartoon Watch editor Triambak Sharma praised Rusen Kumar’s efforts and contributions in the social and corporate social responsibility domains. A special cartoon was presented to honor Rusen Kumar.

Rusen Kumar’s Contribution

Rusen Kumar, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the social sector, has carved a unique niche in the CSR space. His exceptional work in promoting corporate responsibility and community development in India’s corporate sector reflects his dedication and hard work. Cartoon Watch editor Triambak Sharma emphasized in his speech that Rusen Kumar has given a new direction to CSR and social responsibility. He further mentioned that Rusen Kumar’s vision and leadership have inspired countless individuals.

Role of Cartoon Watch and Triambak Sharma

Triambak Sharma, editor of Cartoon Watch, highlighted the importance of Rusen Kumar’s long-standing association with social work. He particularly stressed that Rusen Kumar’s contribution to the CSR sector has been of great significance. Sharma said, “Rusen Kumar is doing outstanding work in the social sector, and his efforts have benefitted many segments of society.” His contribution was specially recognized during the ceremony.

Inspiration for Society

With this honor, Rusen Kumar has become a source of inspiration for society. His approach and commitment to social causes have demonstrated the importance of corporate responsibility within the business world. Many prominent personalities at the ceremony appreciated his continuous efforts. His objective has been to support those sections of society that need it the most, and he has been successful in his endeavors.

Cartoon Watch Cartoon Festival 2024

The award ceremony was held at Hotel Babylon International, Raipur, on 10th September 2024, at 7 PM. The Chief Guest for the event was Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The event was presided over by Dr. Raman Singh, Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Assembly. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal was the special guest, and Dr. Himanshu Dwivedi, Editor-in-Chief of Haribhoomi and INH, was the keynote speaker.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Senior cartoonist Ismail Lahari was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the world of cartoons. Lahari, who has been associated with Dainik Bhaskar, Indore, has made a remarkable impact in the field.

Significance of the Event

The event was organized by Cartoon Watch, India’s only monthly cartoon magazine, which has been published for 28 years and is included in the Limca and India Book of Records. The event received support from the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and the Department of Culture, Chhattisgarh.
