BENGALURU: In an inspiring meeting at Sathya Sai Gram, Bengaluru, Rusen Kumar, the Founder and Managing Editor of India CSR, India’s largest CSR media platform, met the revered humanitarian leader Sri Madhusudan Sai.

During this meeting, Rusen Kumar shared his mission and key works, presenting four of his books to Sri Madhusudan Sai.

He also requested hosting the India CSR Leadership Summit at Sathya Sai Gram, to which Sri Madhusudan Sai graciously agreed.

“Meeting such a humanitarian is truly a precious occasion for me,” Rusen Kumar, renowned social sector leader, remarked, highlighting the significance of this interaction.

He explained that engaging with Sri Madhusudan Sai, a leader whose tireless efforts have profoundly impacted countless lives, was both inspiring and humbling.

According to Rusen Kumar, this interaction reaffirmed the importance of unity and a shared vision in creating lasting social change.

The Vision and Mission of Sri Madhusudan Sai

Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research

Sri Madhusudan Sai has established India’s first free residential private rural medical college, the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. This institution provides free medical education and training to rural youth, creating opportunities for students to serve the poor at its expanding chain of hospitals, all offering services at no cost. This initiative aims to bridge the gap in medical education and healthcare accessibility in rural areas.

Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital

Under the umbrella of the medical college, the Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital, a multi-speciality teaching hospital under the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, offers its services completely free of cost. This hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services, ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of their economic status.

Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centres for Child Heart Care

The Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centres for Child Heart Care focus on paediatric cardiac care. These hospitals form the world’s largest chain of paediatric cardiac hospitals without billing counters, ensuring that children receive the best heart care without financial barriers. This initiative has saved countless lives and alleviated the financial burden on families.

Since 2012, he has established institutes of excellence in education, healthcare, nutrition, and spirituality worldwide. Over the last 12 years, Sri Madhusudan Sai has achieved several remarkable milestones:

India’s Largest Morning Nutrition Programme: This initiative nutritious children, ensuring they have the energy and health to excel in their studies.

India’s First Completely Free of Cost Chain of Schools and a University: These institutions offer quality education without any financial burden on the students, promoting educational equity.

World’s Largest Chain of Paediatric Cardiac Hospitals: These hospitals provide critical heart care to children, saving lives and offering hope to families.
