Gurugram, Haryana: In an inspiring display of determination and sporting excellence, Pooja Yadav, a resident of Tawadu and daughter of a farmer family, clinched the silver medal in the Discus Throw F-54/F55 event at the Asian Para Games 2023. Pooja’s remarkable achievement is attributed not only to her personal dedication but also to the unwavering support of her coach, her family, and the M3M Foundation.

Pooja Yadav’s Inspiring Journey to Success

Pooja, who suffered a spinal injury in her childhood, did not let her disability deter her from pursuing her passion for athletics. Her journey to success has been marked by significant accomplishments, including a bronze medal in javelin throw at the World Para-Athletics Championship in Paris. Along with gold and silver medals in javelin at the Indian Open National Para International Championship in Bangalore earlier this year.

Pooja’s Triumph and Gratitude to Supporters

In the wake of her victory, Pooja conveyed her profound elation and extended her heartfelt appreciation to her coach, family, and the M3M Foundation for their invaluable support. She articulated her sentiments with precision, stating, “I take immense satisfaction in my triumph. I am eager to attribute the credit for my success to my dedicated coach, my unwavering family, and the M3M Foundation. Throughout my journey, the Foundation played an instrumental role by ensuring the provision of all requisite training facilities. I extend my wholehearted gratitude to the Foundation for their steadfast support and am resolute in my commitment to securing additional medals for our nation in the future.”

M3M Foundation’s Commitment to Sports Talent

Dr. Payal Kanodia, the esteemed Chairman and Trustee of the M3M Foundation, extended her warm congratulations to Pooja for her outstanding performance while reaffirming the foundation’s unwavering commitment to nurturing emerging talent in the field of sports. Dr. Kanodia expressed, “We take great pride in the exceptional achievements of our athletes, which reflect positively on India at the global stage.
