Dalmia Bharat Group, a prominent Indian conglomerate in the cement and sugar sectors, celebrates the empowerment of 18,000 women on International Day of Rural Women. These women are empowered through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), offering skill training and access to resources for sustainable livelihoods.

In collaboration with organizations like NRLM and NABARD, Dalmia Bharat organizes training in micro-enterprise development, handicraft production, farming, and non-farming sectors. These initiatives span 12 Indian states and aim to diversify income sources and provide access to formal credit systems for rural women.
