The event was attended by a large number of railway workers, who participated in various activities and sessions designed to raise awareness about drug addiction.


Panvel, Maharashtra, India: On the occasion of Labour Day, Arihant Superstructures and the Central Railway Majdoor Sangh (CRMS) jointly organized a D-addiction awareness camp at Panvel Railway Station on May 1, 2023. The event aimed to spread awareness among railway workers about the dangers of drug addiction and to provide support for those struggling with addiction.

The event was attended by a large number of railway workers, who participated in various activities and sessions designed to raise awareness about drug addiction. The event included talks by experts in the field of addiction, who provided information about the causes and effects of drug addiction, as well as ways to prevent and treat addiction.

The organizers also provided information about the resources available for those struggling with addiction, including rehabilitation centres and support groups. They encouraged railway workers who were struggling with addiction to seek help and support, and provided guidance on how to access these resources.

Commenting on the event, Ashok Chhajer CMD of Arihant Superstructures Ltd. said, “We are proud to have partnered with the CRMS to organize this important event. Drug addiction is a serious problem that affects not only individuals, but also families and communities. By raising awareness about the dangers of addiction and providing support for those who are struggling, we hope to make a positive difference in the lives of railway workers and their families.”

The event was well-received by participants, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn more about addiction and to receive support in overcoming their struggles. The organizers expressed their hope that the event would help to create a safer, healthier, and more supportive work environment for railway workers in the region.
