KEI Industries starts ‘Jeevan Jyoti’ CSR program to empower communities in Education

MUMBAI: KEI Industries Ltd. which has manufactured wires, cables and pipes since 1950. They have recently launched CSR programme Jeevan Jyoti to empower the society.

“While we grew in business, we also fulfilled our responsibilities towards the society. We did this through various CSR programs e.g. Ghar Ki Jyoti, Janani Jyoti, Shiksha Jyoti, etc. Our sole objective has been to empower the individual; thereby creating a strong family and a stronger nation, the company said.

With the onset of Covid 19, a pall of gloom has descended on the entire mankind. Many lives were lost and as a result, several families were shattered. Children of Socio-economic weaker section could not attend their regular classes in schools. Seeing our younger generation drifting aimlessly and sometimes moving into undesired territory is indeed disheartening.

“To address this issue, we have designed a comprehensive package – Jeevan Jyoti filled with education, entertainment and skill-building, specifically for our Electrician brothers’ children of the age group of 8 – 20 yrs. For, it is rightly said, if we have to do a long-term plan, we ought to educate our younger generation appropriately, the company informed.

Jeevan Jyoti has passed through the first two phases of Imagine and Invent, and presents the third phase Implement to you through this platform. Here, you will find not only edutainment activities which will help you excel in your studies, but a plethora of motivational talks on life building skills by acclaimed speakers. We have also brought to you several Real-Life experiences to draw inspiration from.

In essence, Jeevan Jyoti will help you groom in life and spread its light for years to come. Afterall, KEI does not deal only with connecting wires, it believes in connecting lives too.

The prime objective of Jeevan Jyoti will be to make the Go-Getter group (12-20 yrs.) skilled, by providing a plethora of resource materials of Technical Courses as well as Personality Development. 

At the same time, Jeevan Jyoti will help identify the potential of Young Achievers (8-11 yrs.) through several fun activities and provide Educational Aids to nurture their Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Vocabulary Building and Moral Values. These aids will help them excel in their academic pursuits.
