NEW DELHI: India’s major real estate developer’s body, CREDAI via its Raj Nagar Extension chapter organised a special seminar in the city discussing on the ongoing development works in the region. The event was conducted at Apple Tree Hotel and General Secretary of CREDAI RNE, Gaurav Gupta elucidated the details of RNE’s present works to the people present at the seminar. Comprised of 25 builders operating in Raj Nagar Extension, CREDAI RNE in its recent survey on the possession of homes projected the expected delivery of 15,000 units by the end of 2018.
Raj Nagar Extension or RNE, is one of the most sought after residential regions of Ghaziabad, constituting of around 34,300 approved units, among whom 16,900 units have already been delivered while remaining units are under construction. Presently around 13,000 families are already residing here, and with the delivery of the above mentioned figure of homes the population would be added by 60,000 more residents, which of substantial importance for Ghaziabad.
“With delivery of approximately 15,000 homes by 2018, huge number of families would be moving here, further boosting the overall development of the region and laying the milestones of progress for Ghaziabad” pointed out Gaurav Gupta at the seminar.
Former member of C.B.E.C., B.K. Bansal was present at the seminar as the chief guest and addressed the attendees by throwing some light on the GST and its intricacies, which is to be implemented from July 1st 2017. Along with crucial discussions on the region’s development, the one day seminar also pinned on GST, discussing its assorted regulations and impact on the real estate sector.
To talk over the subject of GST in detail, CREDAI RNE invited Dr. Shashank Yadav, Deputy Commissioner, Excise & Service Tax Department (Meerut), who through his address imparted clarity on the topic and also answered to many queries of the developers present at the seminar. The seminar was attended by all the members of the CREDAI RNE, and speaking at event President-CREDAI RNE, Manu Garg said, “The seminar was aimed to portray the ongoing progress of RNE, along with discussing the minutes of GST. We discussed on many crucial subjects and marked several key points to further expedite the region’s development and growth”.
