NEW DELHI: A daylong workshop on CSR for Agriculture is being organised by the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), (an autonomous institute of Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India), and Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) at National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad on 4-5 July 2017.
The Objective of the workshop is to provide space for Companies, NGOs, Academia and Government departments for leveraging CSR funds for agriculture development.
Who should attend: The forum is designed for CSR executives of PSUs and companies, Professionals and NGOs working in agriculture sector and Senior officials from Agriculture and allied departments
Takeaways: The key takeaways are: Policy framework for CSR in India, Best CSR practices /projects implemented by companies in Agriculture, Menu of impactful projects to be supported by Companies and Dynamics of partnership and up scaling.
