Gurugram: In a move to support the environment and contribute towards sustainable future, Whiteland Corporation organized a tree plantation drive in Sector 76, Gurugram. The drive saw the planting of various trees, including Neem, Peepal, and Banyan etc which contribute to the environment in multiple ways.
Tree Plantation Drive and MoU with GMDA
CMD, Navdeep Sardana says “Through these Green drives, we want to take a proactive step towards preserving the environment and ensuring a greener future. We have officially sigend a MoU with GMDA, for adoption of both side green belt and central verge from SPR road Police Post to T-point of Sector77/76 as a first step towards a greener Gurugram. The aim is to plant more than 25,000 different varieties of trees, plants suiting seasonal climatic conditions and ensuring greenery throughout the year. This is just a beginning as we intend to undertake massive drives in coming months in all adjoining areas and cover a huge stretch in Gurugram.”
