NISHTHA 2.0
Launched initiatives will provide training to teachers as per their needs and they will be able to give their suggestions to the department.
NISHTHA 2.0 is an integrated programme of teacher training designed by NCERT;
SAFAL (Structured Assessment For Analyzing Learning Levels), a competency based assessment framework for Grades 3, 5 and 8 in CBSE schools; and a website dedicated to Artificial Intelligence.
National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR)
Union Budget 2021-22 has laid this initiative.
Strengthening country’s digital infrastructure for education by announcing setting up of a launched NDEAR.
Aims to support teaching and learning activities and also educational planning, governance administrative activities of the Centre and the States/ Union Territories.
It will provide diverse education eco-system architecture for development of digital infrastructure, a federated but interoperable system that will ensure autonomy of all stakeholders, especially States and UTs.
National Education Technology Forum (NETF)
To provide a platform for the free exchange of ideas on the use of technology to enhance learning, assessment, planning, administration.
NETF will also facilitate decision-making on the induction, deployment and use of such technologies by providing educational institutions, governments and other stakeholders the latest knowledge to consult and share the best practices
SAFAL (Structured Assessment For Analyzing Learning Levels)
A competency based assessment framework for Grades 3, 5 and 8 in CBSE schools; and a website dedicated to Artificial Intelligence.
All students will take school examinations in Grades 3, 5 and 8 which would test achievement of basic learning outcomes, through assessment of core concepts along with relevant higher-order skills and application of knowledge in real-life situations, rather than rote memorization.
Vidya Pravesh
Athree month play based school preparation module for Grade 1 students. This program will consist of a three-month play module for these children to prepare them for school.
Indian Sign Language
Introduced as a subject/ course program at the secondary classes level.
Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)
For the college students which would let the students learn across courses and disciplines. It will offer Entry and Exit options to the students studying in college which will let the students continue from where they left.
Regional Languages under 14 engineering colleges in India
Announced that Engineering programs will be taught in regional languages for the first year of the course. Aims to support mother tongue as the medium of instruction will instil confidence in the students from poor, rural and tribal backgrounds.
