JHARSUGUDA: Yet another feather to its cap! Vedanta Jharsuguda has been bestowed the “4th CII National HR Excellence Award – 2013” for its strong commitment to HR Excellence in the CII National HR Excellence Award Confluence held on 24 September 2013 at New Delhi. In a grand observance organised at the Hotel ITC Maurya, Dr. Rajeev Nayan, Head HR, Vedanta Jharsuguda and his young-colleagues received this coveted award on behalf of the company.
After being rewarded at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress – 2013 early this month for its Innovative HR Practices in the organisation, this is the fifth national award that Vedanta HR team has been conferred.
CII(Confederation of Indian Industry) is India’s premier business association which has over 7100 members, from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 90,000 enterprises from around 257 national and regional – sectorial industry bodies. The process of evaluation for this award included Paper presentation on various HR practices followed by an extensive Site audit for 2 days.
Elated Dr. Nayan said that the team would be continuing to drive more HR- best practices for the wellbeing of the employees and for the organisation at large.
