United Way of Baroda has been addressing Health, Education, sustainable environment, Livelihood Generation needs of the under privileged communities of Gujarat State since last 34 years.
The focused and structured efforts have enabled the needy communities towards achieving optimal health, quality educated, income stability and Clean environment. Last year our collaborative efforts impacted more than 1,70,000 lives by through our various 54 development programs in 2019-20.
Under our Philanthrophy Campaign, United Way of Baroda donated 2 more food vehicles (Bolero Pick up vehicle) to Akshaya Patra Foundation on 25th January 2021.
These all vehicles will serve freshly prepared nutritious hot mid-day meal to 25000 children in 121 NPSS School and Anganwadi Children in the city of Vadodara every day. Earlier also 7 such vehicles were donated to the foundation. The event was graced by Vice Chairman Shivinder Chawla, Treasurer Minesh Patel and Deputy Director Dr. Binita Verdia.
UWB Board members believes that providing hot food meals to children is the best service for the mankind. Our annual fund-raising event (Garba Mahotsav) enables us to support and work for more and more needy communities of Gujarat.
