Bhubaneswar: Advisor (Legal) of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) Manish Kharbanda has been honoured by Hon’ble Minister of Law & Justice Kiren Rijiju in the Grand Finale of Forbes India Legal Powerlist 2021 organised by Forbes India Magazine held on October 1, 2022, at New Delhi.
Kharbanda was named as one of the one of the Top 50 General Counsels in India in the Forbes Legal Powerlist 2021, in appreciation of his accomplishments and leadershinp in the field of legal advisory services.
“Thanks to JSPL for giving the opportunity, grateful to God for showing me the way to success and the exemplary work done by my team,” said Mr. Kharbanda after receiving the honour.
Kharbanda is a seasoned professional with long experience working in some of the top companies in India. Presently he serves as an advisor for Jindal Steel and Power (Legal). In his previous role as Executive Director – Group Head (Raw Material Sourcing) and Head of Odisha Affairs, he successfully led the Mines and Minerals Business of JSP. As Executive Director – Global Ventures, Manish Kharbanda was managing the complete global business portfolio – identifying and canvassing organic and inorganic growth opportunities, managing operations.
He has a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Lucknow and an MBA with specialization in Finance and Human Resources from ICFAI. He also holds a degree in Advanced Management from Harvard Business School.
