INDIACSR (www.indiacsr.in India’s largest CSR Network) in collaboration with Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi is organizing Two Day Workshop: CSR Implementation, Evaluation & Reporting on 12-13th September 2013. Do not miss the opportunity to meet CSR thought leaders of the industry.
The workshop shall have eminent personalities form the Corporate world who have vast experience in the CSR & Sustainability domain. Col Prakash Tewari (Vice President – CSR & Education, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd) has agreed to deliver a keynote address at the workshop.
He would speak on the best trends and practices in CSR domain and share his vast experience with all of us. The resource persons for the workshop are Sh. Ashwani Kumar (Regional Director- ICCSR, Ex- GM, CSR BHEL), Dr. A K Nigam(Ex- IRPS Officer, Ex-Advisor Indian Railways), Dr. R K Garg (IFS, Executive Director / Advisor, Coal India Limited), Ms. Rubina Sen (GRI India) and Dr. K. K. Upadhyaya : Head- Aditya Birla Centre of CSR at FICCI.
The workshop aims to enhance the understanding of various aspects of CSR for executives and researchers from Corporate, NGOs, Researchers/ Academicians. The passing of Companies Bill in the Loksabha has given a major push to the CSR strategy of the corporate. The practitioners of CSR are still looking for the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the domain of Social Responsibility and sustainability. The workshop will bring experts from industry, who have worked on the strategy formulation, initiation and implementation of the CSR projects over the decades. The MDP programme is being organised in the workshop mode with a very limited number of participants for better interaction and learning.
The major topics to be covered in the workshop include Formulation of CSR project activities, Scheduling, Documentation, Strategy, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring Mechanism, Managing the Information System, process and CSR implementation process and issues. National Voluntary Guidelines, GRI 3.1, GRI4, disclosures and reporting architecture for private companies and PSUs shall be discussed in the workshop. “Certificate Of Participation” shall be provided to the participants.
Organiser of the workshop INDIACSR and Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi have been very active in the area of knowledge generation and dissemination in the domain of CSR. In the recent past they have organised various International / National Conferences and Workshops in Mumbai, Raipur, Bangkok (Thailand) and New Delhi.
