PUNE, MAHARASHTRA: Tejgyan Foundation, a Pune-based spiritual and self-development organization, has completed 25 years of conducting its flagship program, the Magic of Awakening Retreat, a milestone that reflects the growing interest in self-awareness and inner well-being across India and beyond.

Over the past two and a half decades, more than 1.25 lakh people have participated in the retreat, making it one of the long-running self-discovery programs in the country. This achievement highlights the journey of Tejgyan Foundation Pune, which has spent years working to make teachings on awareness, understanding, and personal growth accessible to people from different backgrounds.

Tejgyan Foundation Marks a Significant Milestone

Founded with the vision of helping individuals move toward greater clarity and understanding, Tejgyan Foundation has developed a range of programs focused on self-awareness, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth. Among these initiatives, the Magic of Awakening Retreat has emerged as the organization’s most recognized offering.

As the retreat completes 25 years, the foundation reports that participants have come from diverse professions and walks of life. Entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, educators, healthcare workers, students, homemakers, and retirees have all been part of the program over the years.

The continued participation reflects a wider shift in society, where increasing numbers of people are searching for practical ways to understand themselves and navigate modern-day challenges.

Growing Interest in Self-Awareness and Inner Well-Being

In recent years, conversations around stress management, emotional health, resilience, and mindfulness have become more common. Many individuals are seeking approaches that go beyond temporary relief and help them address deeper questions related to purpose, happiness, and fulfillment.

Against this backdrop, the Magic of Awakening Retreat has gained attention as a program centered on understanding rather than belief. According to Tejgyan Foundation, the retreat encourages participants to explore life through observation, contemplation, meditation, and direct experience.

The program aims to help individuals develop a clearer understanding of themselves, their thoughts, emotions, and the patterns that influence daily life.

The Vision Behind Tejgyan Foundation

The teachings that form the foundation of the retreat are based on the work of Sirshree, spiritual teacher, author, and founder of Tejgyan Foundation. Over the last two and half decades, Sirshree has delivered thousands of discourses and authored more than three hundred books, published in various languages, covering topics related to awareness, self-understanding, relationships, and inner growth.

These teachings have been organized into a structured learning system that guides individuals from personal development toward deeper self-realization.

According to Tejgyan Foundation, the central idea behind its approach is simple: understanding creates transformation. Rather than focusing only on external circumstances, the teachings encourage individuals to examine the way they perceive themselves and the world around them.

What Makes the Magic of Awakening Retreat Different

One of the defining features of the Magic of Awakening Retreat is its emphasis on understanding through direct experience. Participants are not asked to follow a specific belief system or religious path. Instead, the retreat focuses on practical exploration and personal experience.

Sessions include guided contemplation, meditation practices, self-observation exercises, and discussions designed to help participants gain deeper clarity about their lives.

This approach has enabled Tejgyan Foundation Pune to welcome people from different faiths, cultures, and educational backgrounds without requiring adherence to any particular ideology.

The retreat’s universal format has contributed to its steady growth over the years and its appeal among individuals looking for purposeful changes in their lives.

Residential and Online Programs Expand Reach

To ensure broader accessibility, Tejgyan Foundation offers the Magic of Awakening Retreat in multiple formats.

The residential retreat is conducted at MaNaN Ashram near Pune, where participants spend five days in a focused environment dedicated to self-reflection and learning. The immersive setting allows attendees to step away from daily distractions and engage fully with the teachings.

For those unable to travel, the foundation also conducts online editions of the retreat through live interactive sessions. This format has enabled participants from different parts of India and several countries to join the program remotely from the comfort of their homes.

The retreat is available in both Hindi and English, helping Tejgyan Foundation connect with a wider audience across linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Participant Experiences Drive Continued Growth

Over the years, many participants have shared experiences of gaining greater clarity, emotional balance, and a new perspective on life after attending the retreat.

According to the foundation, attendees often arrive seeking solutions to personal, professional, or emotional challenges. Through the process of self-inquiry and understanding, many report improvements in their ability to handle stress, relationships, decision-making, and everyday situations.

These experiences have contributed to the continued growth of the program and helped establish the Magic of Awakening Retreat as one of the most recognized initiatives offered by Tejgyan Foundation.

Looking Ahead After 25 Years

As Tejgyan Foundation Pune celebrates this milestone, the organization continues its efforts to make self-awareness and inner growth accessible to more people. The completion of 25 years and the participation of over 1.25 lakh seekers represent not only a numerical achievement but also a reflection of the increasing demand for programs that encourage deeper understanding and personal transformation.

With growing interest in emotional well-being and conscious living, Tejgyan Foundation’s Magic of Awakening Retreat continues to serve as a platform for individuals seeking clarity, peace, and a better understanding of themselves in an increasingly fast-paced and complex world.
