Hemakiran (Kiran) Gupta has over 30 years of experience working at the intersection of technology and sustainability. As Global Head of Sustainability Services at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), he supports organisations in advancing their net‑zero goals and integrating sustainability into long‑term business planning and value creation. Kiran’s work focuses on how emerging technologies—such as digital twins, AI, sensor systems, and data intelligence—can strengthen sustainability outcomes. His experience spans areas including regenerative agriculture, climate‑risk analytics, and digital solutions that help organizations build greater environmental resilience.
He regularly contributes to discussions on European industry platforms, sharing perspectives on net‑zero transformation, climate adaptation, sustainable finance, and operating models for a low‑carbon future. Beyond his corporate role, Kiran collaborates with NGOs to enhance the impact of their missions through technology, and works with European chambers of commerce on initiatives that promote responsible trade and the adoption of sustainable technologies. Kiran holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an executive postgraduate specialization in international business and strategy from the Amsterdam Business School. Based in Belgium, he is also a sports enthusiast and a former university‑level chess and table tennis player.
