This will make a strong bond between parents and child especially girl child as she will feel safe, protected and confident.

The workshop was a tremendous success with students turning out in large numbers and they all felt encouraged by the endeavor of the workshop to enable them fight with the evil of eve-teasing and other sexual harassment.

This workshop was aimed at imparting skills to women how to tackle with the emergency attacks and protect themselves. I think these kinds of workshops are necessary for all girls considering the fact that there has been a recent spurt in the crimes against women and it has become essential that every woman should know how to protect herself against such crimes, should also be aware of emergency help lines and more importantly about her legal rights as well.”

Mr.Vikas B Sharma, Director of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. at the closing ceremony said  that Women empowerment and women welfare programs are one of most important social activities that are supported by Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. Given the present situation of discrimination and crimes against women in our country it becomes all the more important that special programs on women safety, their rights and self defense training should be conducted for young girls and women.

I feel that more and more organizations, Ngos and individuals should come forward and support such activities. He further said that we at Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd are committed to support such activities in the future. He also appreciated the efforts of MIW Foundation in its relentless efforts and services to organize such activities for the benefit of society from time to time.

I salute the woman power – the stree shakti of India.  It is highly unfortunate the way it is being trampled underfoot these days.  I feel schools need to cultivate a high degree of confidence, self worth and self respect amongst the girl students.  This self defence workshop and training is the right step to cultivate these qualities which will come in very handy to our girls in their future endeavours.  Says Mrs. Rita Rajen Kumar,PRINCIPAL HANS RAJ MODEL SCHOOL.
