Jharsuguda: Subhalaxmi cooperative , an all women cooperative having a membership base of 2700 rural women of Jharsuguda, promoted by Sesa Sterlite, today embarked on its first rural sanitation campaign ‘Maryadaa’ under the banner of ‘Swachha Bharat Abhiyaan’ at village Dalki.
Rural women from nearby villages, school children and employees of Sesa Sterlite and Subhalaxmi Cooperative participated with enthusiasm to clean the surroundings of school, Aanganwadi Centre and other public areas of the village.
Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Pushpanjali Seth , President of Subhalaxmi Cooperative, said that we are committed to take up the campaign of clean environment to all 52 villages covered by our operation in the district and we will specially focus on Individual Household Toilets and toilets for children in school and are eager to participate with Government to anchor such initiative.
