NEW DELHI (India CSR): S M Sehgal Foundation, in collaboration with DCB Bank and NIRDPR as a knowledge partner, is set to organize the second edition of its capacity-building and experience-sharing workshop series on water management and conservation, Jalagam 2.0. The event will take place on February 12, 2025, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This initiative continues the impactful journey of fostering community-led solutions for sustainable water management.
A Legacy of Collaboration and Action
The Jalagam workshop series, launched in 2023–24, has successfully created platforms in key cities such as New Delhi, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, and Jhansi, enabling changemakers, stakeholders, and community leaders to exchange ideas and share practical solutions. This collaboration between S M Sehgal Foundation and DCB Bank has empowered communities with the knowledge to strengthen water conservation and resilience.
By bringing together experts, policymakers, and grassroots leaders, the workshops aim to foster a deeper understanding of water security challenges and drive impactful changes through policy recommendations and on-ground action.
Why Jalagam 2.0 is Significant

- Encouraging knowledge exchange among local leaders, policymakers, and organizations.
The workshop will provide practical insights into innovative water management approaches, including rainwater harvesting, efficient irrigation methods, and the restoration of traditional water bodies.
An Open Platform for Change
Jalagam 2.0 invites participants from various sectors, including government officials, NGOs, community leaders, and researchers, to collaborate and propose actionable strategies for water conservation. The workshop is designed to be an interactive platform for discussions, case studies, and idea-sharing that can be translated into impactful projects.
