NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address farmers in his next ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address that will be aired on March 22 on All India Radio, an official communique said on Wednesday.Scheduled for broadcast at 11am on that day, the sixth edition of the radio programme, a platform where the Prime Minister shares his thoughts with the citizens, will focus on farmers and allied issues.
Narendra Modi has also invited citizens to share their ideas and thoughts on the subject in the Open Forum at MyGov.in, the statement said.In the earlier five editions of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Modi dwelt upon the Clean India mission and issues relating to the promotion of khadi, skill development, scholarship for disabled children, infrastructure for educational institutions and the menace of drugs
In the last broadcast on February 22 he had urged students to shed their examination stress and develop a positive attitude.PM has also shared the platform with US President Barack Obama where the two leaders interacted with listeners on a host of issues during the latter’s official visit to India in January. The address that is simultaneously broadcast live on All India Radio and Doordarshan channels, can also be heard on Vividh Bharti, FM Gold and FM Rainbow radio.
