Both these vehicles were flagged off on April 16, April 2022, by Dr. Alka Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director of ONGC at Tel Bhawan, the headquarters of ONGC.
One more step was taken by ONGC in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Under which ONGC has given a 52-seater bus Tata (M1009) costing Rs 18 lakh to two institutions of Uttarakhand, Devasthali Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy Rudrapur for the students and Tata Ace (small elephant) vehicle of Rs 9.26 lakh to West Warriors Dehradun for waste management. The bus given to Devasthali Vidyapeeth district Udham Singh Nagar will be available free of cost for the regional children to come to the college for technical and vocational education, while the Tata (Ace) vehicle is given to the West Warriors is used for garbage collection in different wards of Doon.

On this occasion, Dr. Alka Mittal said that various developmental social works have been done by ONGC during the Corona period. Apart from this, the company has made life happy by lighting hundreds of blind villages with solar lights, as well as trying to touch the lives of children of backward areas by providing furniture and toilets to hundreds of schools.
Before this, ONGC has provided buses to Asra Trust, Government Girls Inter College, Rajpur Road and Agnes Kunj Society under the CSR head. Work is being done by West Warriors organization on solid waste management since 2012 in Dehradun Sahastradhara, Rishikesh, Kempty Fall, Ramnagar Jim Corbett, Har Ki Doon Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and Himachal Pradesh Dharamshala.
On this occasion ONGC Executive Director CSR Somesh Ranjan, Chief General Manager Smt RS Narayani, General Manager (CSR) Mounu Bhatnagar, General Manager & Incharge CSR Ram Raj Dwivedi, General Manager TB Hashmi, Naresh Sood of CSR team and LM Lakheda, Rohit Sharma, Naveen Kumar Sadana, Ankita Chamola, Aditya, Amit Kumar from West Warriors organization and Bhaskar Kandpal from Devasthali Vidya Peeth Rudrapur, K.K. Joshi and Kamal Joshi etc. were present.
