BILASPUR (Chhattisgarh): Asim Kumar Samanta, Group General Manager (NTPC-Sipat) inaugurated the newly constructed cement concrete road in village Darrabhtha on 28 Feb, 2017. The road was constructed under the aegis of Corporate Social Responsibility-Community development (CSR-CD) at a cost expenditure of Rs. 15 lakh. NTPC-Sipat is located near Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh State.
With the construction of this road, the villagers of Darrabhatha will be benefited with clean, mud and pothole free communication facility.
Addressing the villagers Samanta appealed to maintain cleanliness of the road as well as their surroundings to fulfill government’s flagship programme, Clean India. Apart from that Samanta also emphasized on all safety aspect.
Under CSR-CD activities, NTPC-Sipat is working on Infrastructure Development, providing better health facility, education, providing clean drinking water, promotion of sports and games, promotion of art and culture, sanitation, welfare of differently abled and skill development.
On this occasion Panchyat Sarpanch, Hembai Banjare, employees and villagers in large numbers were present.
