NEW DELHI (India CSR): NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has emerged as the successful bidder in the e-reverse auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on August 4, 2025 for the full capacity of 70,000 metric tonnes per annum (MT/Year) of Green Ammonia.
This is part of SECI’s larger tender for a total of 7.24 lakh MT/Year of Green Ammonia, spread across 13 locations in India.
The e-reverse auction was scheduled for supply of 70,000 MT/Year of Green Ammonia to Krishana Phoschem Limited, located in Meghnagar, Madhya Pradesh.
NTPC REL has secured this capacity @ Rs. 51.80 per kg.
