Angul (Odisha):JSPL Foundation, the CSR arm of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL), celebrated National Sports Day-2021 at various youth clubs in the local areas. To mark the occasion, the foundation organised different sensitisation sessions for the youths and provided Indoor gym equipment to three youth clubs, namely Kalinga Club, Jarada, Baba Balunkeswar Youth Club, Paripara and Maruti Club, Sanakerjang.
Since 2008, JSPL Foundation has been associated with 32 youth clubs of 24 villages, benefitting 2250 youths. To motivate the youths, JSPL Foundation is also supporting various youth clubs with indoor and outdoor gym equipment.
In addition to this various sporting activities, yoga sessions and other programmes are also being conducted to encourage the rural youths for sports activities.
