Mukesh Ambani’s glorious net worth is common knowledge for almost everyone. While most might not be aware of the exact figures, there is a certain sense that his earnings make him Asia’s richest man. With enormous money to splurge, Mukesh Ambani, along with a slew of companies under RIL, countless luxury cars, billions of dollars of investment and more, also owns properties around the world.

Antilia

The world-famous Antilia, easily one of the most expensive residential spaces in the world is a preposterous 27-storey structure, to say the least. Read all about Antilia, and take a virtual tour of the $1 billion home, here.

Stoke Park in the UK

Mukesh Ambani owns a 900-year-old hotel in London. In an interview with NDTV in 2012, Nita Ambani said that Antilia was the only property Ambani owned. But, this £57 million (Rs 592 crore approx) splurge this year has well and truly changed that. The property is currently operated as a 49-bedroom property with a 27-hole golf course, 13 tennis courts and 14 acres of private gardens. Reliance, per an official statement, said that the RIIHL division of the company is gearing up to enhance the sports and leisure facilities at this heritage site.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York

The 248-room and suites property at Columbus Circle is one of the city’s uber-luxurious lodging establishments towering over Central Park in midtown Manhattan, frequented by Hollywood celebrities and hedge fund billionaires. Interestingly, Mukesh Ambani’s last big international property acquisition came in the form of Stoke Park, which the billionaire bought for Rs 592 crore. The deal is not even a year old yet, and Ambani shelled out almost four times more on this new acquisition

Sea Wind, Cuffe Parade

Before moving to Antilia, Mukesh Ambani and his family lived with their extended family–Anil Ambani and his immediate peers–at Sea Wind apartments in Cuffe Parade. The entire building was bought by Dhirubhai Ambani, and it is believed that all of them lived in this 17-storey residential space in South Mumbai. In fact, every member of the Ambani family had an entire floor to themselves. (GQ India)
