A Green Revolution That Began at the Age of Four
In an era where urbanization is rapidly overtaking natural landscapes, Dusharla Satyanarayana stands as a beacon of environmental conservation. His journey, which began as a childhood fascination with nature, has transformed into a lifelong mission to restore greenery and protect biodiversity.
Located in Raghavapuram village, Telangana, his 70-acre private land is now a lush green forest, home to over 5 crore trees and 13 water ponds, sheltering countless birds, animals, and insects. What makes his story even more remarkable is that he has never sought financial gains from this land—despite receiving lucrative offers from real estate developers and even the government. Instead, he has dedicated his life to preserving and expanding this self-sustaining ecosystem.
A Childhood Passion That Grew Into a Mission
Dusharla Satyanarayana’s love for trees started when he was just four years old. What was once a barren grassland is now a thriving forest, thanks to his persistent efforts.
“As a child, I would scatter tamarind and other seeds across the land. It was my way of making sure there were trees around me,” he recalls.
His deep-rooted connection with nature only strengthened over time. While others pursued urban lifestyles, he stayed committed to creating and nurturing forests.

The Guardian of the Forest
Unlike many who inherit the land for commercial benefits, Dusharla chose conservation over commercialization. His ancient trees, fruit-bearing plants, and flourishing biodiversity reflect the dedication and patience it takes to build a forest from scratch.
- 5 crore+ trees, including fruit trees and medicinal plants
- 13 water bodies, naturally sustaining flora and fauna
- 50-year-old trees, thriving under his constant care
This green haven has become a safe sanctuary for wildlife, proving that one man’s vision can indeed change the landscape for generations.

Refusing to Sell: A Commitment to Nature
Over the years, real estate developers and government bodies have approached him, offering huge sums of money—some even up to Rs 100 crore for his land. But Dusharla has refused to part with a single inch of it.

“I have protected this land for three generations. Some of my family members want to commercialize it, but I won’t let it go for non-environmental reasons. Even my children will not inherit this land—it belongs to nature.”
His determination to safeguard his forest is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the environment.

From Banker to Forest Creator
Dusharla’s journey is not just about planting trees—it is about a complete lifestyle shift in service of the planet.
- He holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture and once worked as a bank officer.
- Despite a stable career, he left his job to fully commit to creating a natural ecosystem.
- He has devoted his life to protecting this land until his last breath.
His passion extends beyond personal satisfaction—it is a call to action for the world.

A Legacy That Will Live Forever
Dusharla Satyanarayana’s dedication proves that one person can make a significant impact. In a time when forests are disappearing, his work serves as an inspiration to protect, restore, and respect nature.
His forest is not just a collection of trees—it is a legacy of resilience, love, and unwavering determination.
