Mahindra Satyam announces the appointment of Al-Noor Ramji on their Board of Directors

Hyderabad: Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, today announced the appointment of Al–Noor Ramji on their Board of Directors effective June 01, 2011.

Mr. Al-Noor Gulamali Abdulla Ramji is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Misys International Banking Systems Limited since 2010. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer at BT Exact Technologies and also served in different group companies of BT, providing leadership for critical portfolios.

Prior to BT, Al-Noor served as the Chief e-Commerce Officer at Qwest Communications. He is regarded an authority in Information Technology globally and was Global CIO at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. He founded Webtek Software and served as its Group Chief Executive Officer.

Al-Noor served as a Director of Tech Mahindra (Americas) Inc. and Tech Mahindra Limited. His track record of successfully leveraging information technology to achieve business objectives has won him top industry awards, including- CIO magazine’s CIO 100 Award, CNET UK CIO of the Year and the British Computer Society CIO of the Year.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from University of London.
