Karunya Educational and Research Trust, through SEESHA, a social organization and Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences have been consistently supporting the government in the fight against the life-threatening coronavirus by providing its infrastructure and research facilities.
The Founder and Chancellor of Karunya Deemed University Dr. Paul Dhinakaran has generously offered the Karunya Trust property at Periyanayakanpalayam (Mettupalayam Road), which has 400-bedded facility for men and women separately with cooking and dining facilities, along with its guest house, to the Government of Tamil Nadu to convert it into a temporary isolation ward / hospital to treat Covid 19 patients.
The Organization has made hand sanitizers and face masks through its sister institutions and handed them over to District Administration for free distribution among the people of Coimbatore.
