ANGUL: The Angul unit of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd celebrated the first International Day of Yoga. To mark the occasion a mega Yoga Camp was organisation at its campus in Angul.
DK Saraogi, Executive Director and Location Head of JSPL, Angul participated in this mega yoga camp along with about employees of JSPL and their family members. Students of OP Jindal School also participated in this Camp.
“For thousands of years Yoga has been the flag bearer of Indian spiritual tradition. Yoga balances body and mind and enhances productivity and establishes harmony in Creation. JSPL as a global business entity salutes this Great Indian yogic tradition on this International Yoga day.
Organizing Yoga camps and inducting yogic way of life has been consciously built in to our employee development modules” said Dinesh Saraogi the Executive Director In Charge of JSPL , Angul participating in the yoga camp today. Sujata Saraogi, the President of the Jindal Mahila Samiti also participated in the Yoga Camp.
Yoga teacher of OP Jindal School briefed the participants about benefits of Yoga. He also trained the participants about different Yoga positions. More than 500 employees, school students, security force members and women were present in the Yoga Camp, held at early morning today. This was organised by Team CSR under the aegis of JSPL Foundation.
