ANGUL (India CSR): Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) observed the sacred occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Puja at its Angul Plant with profound devotion and active participation of the workforce and local community.
Leading the observance, Angul Location Head, Pankaj Malhan, along with his wife, Seema Malhan; Executive Director, Mr. Damodar Mittal, along with his wife, Mrs. Anita Mittal, and other departmental heads, took part in the Vedic rituals held in the Plate Mill area.
Together, they offered prayers to Lord Vishwakarma, the Divine Architect, and Engineer, seeking His blessings for the prosperity and well-being of all associated with JSP and for the Countrymen in entirety .
“It is by the grace of Lord Vishwakarma that we are able to achieve engineering marvels. Human endeavours alone would not suffice without His Divine Blessings. I extend my heartfelt best wishes to our workforce and urge everyone to give their best for their families, the community, and the nation” ED Mr. Pankaj Malhan after performing the rituals.
ED Mr. Damodar Mittal said “I humbly pray to Lord Vishwakarma to protect and guide us, granting us the strength and safety needed to achieve our goals with Zero Harm. May this auspicious occasion bring joy and peace to everyone connected with our Angul Plant.”
In addition to the main celebration, a special Puja of Lord Vishwakarma was performed at the Jagannath Temple in Dev Bhoomi, Jindal Nagar, and at the Shramik Vihar. The residents of Jindal Nagar, along with workers from the colony, joined in large numbers to offer their prayers. The ceremonies were meticulously organized by the HR & ES team under the guidance of Mr. Subhash Chander with the ground leadership of Mr. Sarat Panda.
The day was marked by spiritual fervour, symbolizing the strong faith and dedication of JSP’s workforce seeking divine blessings for their endeavours in their work arena.
