Innovative CSR Endeavor: Mobile Solar Solutions-on-Wheels Aims to Augment Water Access in India’s Remote Districts

NEW DELHI (India CSR): Grundfos India, recognized for its leadership in water solutions and pump technology, has initiated a transformative CSR project, “Jal Se Jeevan Yatra.” This CSR initiative, inaugurated by the Royal Danish Ambassador to India, Freddy Svane, represents a mobile showcase of cutting-edge solar pump and water supply solutions, focused on emphasizing the importance of solar-powered water supply and irrigation in diverse Indian regions.

The CSR initiative, “Jal Se Jeevan Yatra,” by Grundfos India is a significant step in showcasing the critical role of sustainable water solutions, especially in remote and underprivileged areas of India. It is not merely a technological exhibition but a beacon of hope and advancement, highlighting the crucial role of CSR in sustainable water availability and contributing to the betterment of economic conditions and life quality in India’s rural regions.

Empowering through CSR

Grundfos’s CSR initiative seeks to empower farmers and rural communities, who often face challenges due to unreliable electricity and frequent power cuts. This innovative CSR approach aims to resolve the disruptions caused by poor power quality, enabling consistent water supply for irrigation, and allowing communities the autonomy to manage water supply effectively, fostering economic growth and improved quality of life.

Grundfos, through its numerous CSR initiatives, has been a global pioneer in introducing innovative and sustainable water supply solutions. In India, Grundfos’s CSR initiatives have played a crucial role in transforming water supply infrastructure and impacting millions of lives positively, from urban to rural landscapes, aligning its mission seamlessly with the national goals of universal clean and reliable water access.

Sustainability and Enhanced Quality of Life through CSR

Emphasizing Grundfos’s core value of sustainability, Rangarajan Ramaswamy, Area Sales Director – Water Utility, highlighted the company’s commitment to addressing global water and climate challenges through its CSR initiatives. With the “Jal Se Jeevan Yatra,” Grundfos aims to bring sustainable solutions to the fast-growing Indian population, focusing on enhancing the quality of life in rural areas and offering impactful solutions to millions.

Extensive Reach of the CSR Initiative

The “Jal Se Jeevan Yatra” stands as a testament to Grundfos India’s steadfast commitment to revolutionizing water supply solutions through CSR. This initiative is designed to traverse 24 states over six months, in two phases, serving as a dynamic platform for displaying a range of efficient and reliable Grundfos solar-powered pumps and controls, designed meticulously for water supply applications.
