Indian Bank has contributed Rs 1.20 crore under CSR to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for flood relief and rehabilitation.
NEW DELHI (India CSR): Indian Bank has extended crucial support to flood-affected communities in Assam by contributing Rs 1.20 crore (Rupees One Crore Twenty Lakh) to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This initiative, undertaken as part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, reflects its steadfast commitment to standing with communities in times of crisis and supporting recovery efforts during natural disasters.
On behalf of Indian Bank, Binu J. Pillai, Field General Manager, Guwahati, and Alok Kumar, Zonal Manager, Guwahati, presented the cheque to Himanta Biswa Sarma, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam. The contribution will strengthen the Assam State Government’s ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures for those impacted by the floods.
