INDIACSR launches Ask about CSR with Vijay Kapur and Enakshi Sengupta column

CSR managers can seek guidance free of cost and can benefit from the discussions and advice sought.

INDIACSR the only dedicated CSR portal in India, has launched unique column “Ask about CSR” with Vijay Kapur and Enakshi Sengupta.

This column would feature pertinent questions on CSR that are faced by the corporate world and the NGO’s.  Eminent CSR consultants from Kuala Lumpur Vijay Kapur and Enakshi Sengupta would address such issues and suggest suitable solutions to the problems posed.

The column will particularly address issues on stakeholder engagement, strategic CSR, embedding CSR, employee voluntarism, CSR and reputation and sustainability reports. Issues that are currently plaguing Indian society can be discussed to find suitable corporate NGO partnership as a solution to such problems.

This column would suggest tips, step by step procedure as a ready made solution. CSR managers can seek guidance free of cost and can benefit from the discussions and advice sought. This column shall start featuring from November 1, 2010 and will discuss new issues every fortnight. Selection of questions would remain a prerogative of the consultants.

Interested parties/individuals along with their queries also mention about their self,  brief of job profile, company profile, CSR profile etc. 

Here are the brief introduction of Vijay Kapur and Enakshi Sengupta :

Vijay Kapur

Vijay Kapur, a Senior CSR Consultant in Kuala Lumpur and has over 16 years of experience working in the field of social responsibility, reputation management and strategic communication. He is an MBA with Merit from University of Nottingham and received a Distinction in his Management Project on CSR. He had the opportunity of studying CSR under stalwarts in the world.

He is also a Chartered PR Practitioner having gained his diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK. He has a diploma in marketing management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and an advanced certificate in marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

He is also on the advisory board of Wockhardt Foundation, India. He heads the Wockhardt Foundation’s initiative in Malaysia. His expertise and knowledge in the field of CSR has resulted in competitive advantage and bottom line growth for his clients. He is pursuing his PhD in CSR from Universiti Sains Malaysia and is an Associate Research Consultant to CPTAG – USM.

Enakshi Sengupta

Enakshi Sengupta, a Senior CSR Consultant in Kuala Lumpur having over 14 years of experience in the field of CSR ad Communications. She is an MBA with Merit from the University of Nottingham, specializing in CSR and Strategic Management.

She received a DisEnakshi Senguptatinction in her Management Project on CSR. She is also a qualified Chartered PR practitioner from The Charter Institute of Public Relations, UK.

She has done her Masters in English Literature from Calcutta University, a Bachelor’s degree in English Honours from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Calcutta University. She also has expertise in the field of marketing acquired through a Diploma in Marketing Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK.

She is Chief Coordinator of Wockhardt Foundation’s initiative in Malaysia. Enakshi is pursuing her PhD from University of Nottingham, Malaysia and is an Associate Research Consultant to CPTAG – USM.

Enakshi contributes regularly to Public Affairs Asia, Impact International and Indian PR Blog.
