India’s economic growth and development is dependent largely on the development of its rural population. Nearly one third of the rural population is below the national poverty line. And with more than 50% of rural poor consisting of women, they are the most impacted and vulnerable to the challenges of growth.

The need of the hour is to empower the women in rural India, not with one-time contributions but sustained effort.  Fullerton India’s CSR Vision is to enable sustainable development and inclusive growth across communities through innovative socio-economic and environmental interventions, in fulfilment of its role as a socially responsible corporate citizen.
