India CSR is felicitating safe and inclusive workplaces in India through India POSH Awards 2021, the maiden awards on ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) at Workplace’ in India.
As organisations are progressing towards bringing in an equal and safe workplace for women, this initiative aims to promote innovation and successes in making workplaces safer for women.
The Award would be conferred upon the organisations that have proactive innovative approach towards preventing sexual harassment.
India’s first legislation specifically addressing the issue of workplace sexual harassment; the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”) was enacted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, India in 2013.
