MUMBAI: India CSR, world’s leading CSR network is initiating the India CSR Leadership Interview Series by Nayan Mitra.
The Leadership Series is the brainchild of eminent CSR expert, Nayan Mitra, who feels it is critical to bring to the readers the best of CSR practices and research through the first hand interviews of corporate leaders, chairman, Corporate Foundation CEO/ NGO heads, authors and policy makers, both in India and world over.
“One thing that is evident is that CSR is no longer a distant subject, it is a reality. Business, society, environment must co-exist to bring about a better world. With MNCs and environment coming into the picture, it is a borderless world, where the dynamism of its players can make or break this planet. It is therefore important to document and disseminate to the stakeholders the thought process and action of these leaders that will shape this destiny in the years to come,” feels Nayan Mitra.
The objective of the interview series is to be a key resource to document the views and reviews of CSR Leaders in – policy making, research, corporations, consultancy, implementation agencies on CSR and Sustainability and disseminate them among the audience to instigate critical thinking and to learn, unlearn and adapt from these Leadership talks.
“CSR is evolving and relatively newer subject in comparison with other subjects like marketing or manufacturing, and goes as per the company laws. It is a new profession so we need literatures and well documented thoughts of corporate leaders. Our literatures will help in establishing CSR as a profession and a separate sector,” said Rusen Kumar, Founder and Managing Editor, India CSR.
India CSR is one of the largest websites in the CSR domain, active since 2009, and has been feeding to its innumerable readers on the news and views of the evolution of the new CSR in India across sections.
