Through their collaborative efforts, Goodera and EY GDS are working towards promoting sustainability and empowering communities.
NEW DELHI (India CSR): Goodera, a leading platform for hosted volunteering experiences, recently collaborated with EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Ernst & Young (EY) to organize two impactful CSR activities in Bangalore and Gurgaon. The events were a part of EY’s EY GDS’ Volunteering Festival and Connectival II, respectively.
In Gurgaon, around 490 employees and leaders from EY GDS gathered at the Kamadhenu Gaushala to learn about the life of a farmer through a one-day agriculture program organized by Goodera. The employees gained a deeper understanding of their food and land, promoting conscious living.
Meanwhile, in Bangalore, top EY GDS leaders and 200 employees joined hands with Goodera to construct and distribute solar lamps to women supported by the Green India Initiative. The initiative aims to promote sustainability and improve livelihoods by empowering communities with solar energy.
The event was held at Bangalore Life A Life, where the volunteers assembled the lamps and distributed them to women in need. Through this event, the volunteers not only promoted sustainability but also empowered the women to lead a better life.
Goodera’s hosted volunteering experiences provide a unique opportunity for leading organizations such as IBM, Airbnb, Zoom, and Amazon to make a positive impact on society. By collaborating with Goodera, companies can make a tangible difference in the world while engaging their employees in meaningful activities.
The collaboration between Goodera and EY GDS showcases the power of collective action in promoting sustainability and empowering communities. Through such initiatives, we can create a better world for ourselves and future generations.
