GURUGRAM: Emaar India, the iconic brand and leading global property developer, today organised a day-long free Health Care Check-up Camp for its site labourers employed at The Palm Drive project in Gurugram.
The social welfare initiative was conducted by Emaar India’s CSR arm EMaar Community of Aware and Responsible Employees (EMCARE) in association with Max India Foundation, to promote its philosophy of Welfare for All.
More than 200 construction workers from The Palm Drive project site – along with women labourers and their children – underwent health checkups by a team of specialized doctors from Max Hospital, Gurugram.
General health examinations for height, weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), eyesight, blood pressure, blood sugar, joints and bones strength, nutrition & vitamins level, etc were held, along with free distribution of medicines to these site workers.
The doctors also conducted health awareness sessions highlighting the importance of sanitation, hygiene, timely diagnosis and preventive measures to be adopted for a healthy life.
Emaar India has partnered with Max India Foundation to organise periodic health checkup camps along with distribution of medicines for the 15,000 construction labourers employed at its project sites across India.
In the past few months, the Company conducted healthcare camps at its Emerald Hills site on Golf Course Extension Road, and ‘Imperial Gardens’ project on Dwarka Expressway, in which more than 350 construction labourers benefitted from the healthcare initiative.
