GURUGRAM (India CSR): On the occasion of International Labour Day, Elan Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Elan Group, extended support to nearly 3,500 labourers across its project sites in Gurugram. These include Elan The Emperor and Elan The Presidential in Sector 106, Elan Imperial in Sector 82, Elan Paradise in Sector 50 and Elan Empire in Sector 66. As part of the initiative, hygiene essential kits were distributed among the workers to promote health and well-being.

Partnering for Welfare
Adding to the spirit at Sector 106, Elan Group’s construction partner Leighton India joined hands with Elan Foundation by providing nutritious food kits and facilitated interactive recreational activities, including volleyball, carrom and cricket to promote health, engagement and camaraderie among workers.
Ensuring Worker Safety
Elan Group is implementing best-in-class construction practices and the highest safety standards. Beyond welfare, the Group has always been committed to the safety of its workforce, implementing stringent safety protocols across all its sites. These include dedicated on-site medical support, including a doctor, first-aid facilities, and an ambulance. Elan Group also has tie-ups with two local hospitals for any off-site treatment. Every new worker undergoes a thorough safety induction, with regular refresher sessions to reinforce critical safety practices.
Safety Education Measures
The on-site safety park, which showcases personal protective equipment (PPE) and essential safety guidelines, serves as both an educational tool and a constant reminder to workers about the importance of safe practices. Additionally, secure working platforms, safety screens for workers at height and perimeter safety walls ensure physical protection, while dust suppression measures, including wheel-dusting and mist fans, maintain clean air quality across the site.
