Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Founder of the I Am Peacekeeper Movement, has been conferred with the Blue Ribbon Award 2025 in Cambodia, honouring his humanitarian vision, peace advocacy, and pioneering healthcare leadership.

MUMBAI (India CSR): Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Executive Director of Wockhardt, CEO of Wockhardt Foundation, and Founder of the I Am Peacekeeper movement, has been conferred with the illustrious Blue Ribbon Award 2025 by the UK-based Sram & Mram Group. The grand award ceremony took place at the Shangri-La Grand Ballroom in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and was attended by global dignitaries and thought leaders. Dr. Huzaifa, a renowned humanitarian and peace advocate, received the honour in absentia.

Global recognition for humanitarian leadership

The Blue Ribbon Awards are internationally recognised for celebrating excellence, innovation, and transformative contributions that inspire humanity across borders. This year’s edition highlighted leaders whose work embodies resilience, compassion, and a vision for a better future. Dr. Huzaifa was chosen for his decades-long contributions to humanitarian service, peace-building initiatives, and transformative healthcare leadership.

Dr. Huzaifa’s message of peace and unity

In a statement, Dr. Huzaifa expressed deep gratitude for the honour and dedicated the award to collective global efforts towards peace and justice.

Speaking on the honor, Dr. Huzaifa expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing global challenges, “This honor is not mine alone but a tribute to what we can achieve when compassion and respect guide us,understanding bridges divides, and justice, freedom, equality, and unity remain our shared pursuit.ठ

“The Blue Ribbon Award is a prestigious accolade that celebrates outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes worldwide. It symbolizes a commitment to fostering peace, harmony, and positive change across communities. It is in this spirit that I accept the award, on behalf of all working for a more peaceful world.”, he added.

He further added that the Blue Ribbon Award stands as a symbol of commitment to fostering peace, harmony, and positive change worldwide.

A grand evening of global changemakers

The award night in Phnom Penh brought together international delegates, policymakers, Nobel Laureates, and cultural icons under the theme Blue & Gold. Keynote addresses, cultural showcases, and the official presentation of awards marked the evening. The ceremony reaffirmed the awards’ mission of spotlighting leaders whose vision transcends geographical and cultural barriers.

Lifelong dedication to peace and healthcare

Dr. Huzaifa has been at the forefront of large-scale social transformation. His compassion-driven leadership and commitment to uplifting marginalized communities have touched millions of lives across continents. Through Wockhardt Foundation’s flagship Mobile 1000 program, over 40 million underprivileged people in rural India have received free primary healthcare services over the past 12 years.

In addition to his humanitarian healthcare initiatives, Dr. Huzaifa is the driving force behind the global I Am Peacekeeper movement, uniting more than two million peacekeepers worldwide around the values of gratitude, forgiveness, love, humility, giving, patience, and truth. Earlier in April 2025, he hosted the Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit in Dubai, which featured 10 Nobel Peace Laureates and unveiled the “Peace Charter – a Love Letter to Humanity.”

Profile of a global leader

A Yale MBA graduate and eldest son of billionaire Dr. Habil Khorakiwala, Dr. Huzaifa has received more than 110 prestigious honours, including knighthood, 15 honorary doctorates, and the title of Man of the Year 2025 by Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe. His initiatives like Billionaires for Peace continue to advance Nobel-inspired peace efforts globally.
