D. K. Shivakumar, the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, and Madhu Bangarappa, the Honorable Education Minister of Karnataka, graced the event to felicitate the winners.

BENGALURU (India CSR): The 2024 Brillio National STEM Challenge reached its grand finale today in Bengaluru, celebrating the innovative spirit of young minds from across India. The event marked the fourth edition of this prestigious competition, organized by Brillio in collaboration with STEM Learning, with the support of the National Education Foundation. D. K. Shivakumar, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, and Madhu Bangarappa, Honorable Education Minister of Karnataka, were present to felicitate the winners.

A Showcase of Innovation

Celebrating Creativity and Ingenuity

The National STEM Challenge is an educational initiative that has become a significant platform for students from underserved schools to showcase their talents.

This year’s competition saw participation from over 2,000 students from 20 states, who were trained in cutting-edge technologies by volunteers from Brillio and STEM Learning.

The top 27 teams from 12 states made it to the national finale, which was held at National Hill View Public School, Banashankari, Bengaluru.

The event was graced by esteemed guests, including D. K. Shivakumar and Madhu Bangarappa.

Other notable figures included B. B. Cauvery, Commissioner for Public Instruction, Government of Karnataka, and Ashutosh Pandit, CEO of STEM Learning.

These leaders highlighted the importance of STEM education in shaping the future of India and emphasized the need for continuous support for such initiatives.

The grand finale was the culmination of year-long activities that included science and mathematics model competitions, technology quizzes, and engineering tinkering sessions. This initiative has significantly improved school attendance, active classroom participation, and learning outcomes.
