Dalmia Bharat Foundation awarded certifications to 55 DIKSHa trainees in Kadapa, with 39 securing jobs in healthcare and service organisations.

KAPADA (India CSR): Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited organised the valedictory ceremony for trainees of its DIKSHa (Dalmia Institute of Knowledge and Skill Harnessing) Centre in Kadapa, celebrating the successful completion of its vocational training programmes. During the ceremony, 55 students who successfully completed the General Duty Assistant (GDA) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) courses were awarded industry-recognised certifications. Of these, 39 students have secured placements across leading healthcare and service sector organisations. Since its inception, the DIKSHa Centre in Kadapa has trained over 567 youth, with 409 successfully placed across leading healthcare institutions, retail and service sector organisations, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural youth.

As Andhra Pradesh continues to strengthen its healthcare and service ecosystem, industry-aligned vocational programmes such as General Duty Assistant and Customer Relationship Management are creating pathways to employment for rural youth while helping address the growing demand for skilled professionals.

The ceremony was attended by Arpan Dilipkumar Parekh, Unit Head – Kadapa, Rajeev Kumar Singh, Technical Head, and S. Gopal Reddy, Head – HR, along with current trainees. The dignitaries congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to continue building on their skills to achieve long-term career success.

Speaking on the occasion, Arpan Dilipkumar Parekh, Unit Head, Kadapa said, “At Dalmia Bharat, we believe skill development is key to creating sustainable livelihoods and empowering communities. Through the DIKSHa Centre in Kadapa, we are equipping young people with industry-relevant skills and confidence to succeed in today’s evolving job market. We remain committed to expanding access to quality vocational training and creating pathways to meaningful employment for rural youth.”

Established in June 2023, DIKSHa-Kadapa facilitates skill training and employment for youth in three vital trades: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in IT Enabled Services, General Duty Assistant (GDA) in Health Care, and Assistant Electrician (AE) in Construction. The center operates in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and has recently partnered with Karur Vysya Bank (KVB), which sponsors one batch in each trade, accommodating 25 trainees per batch.
