ODISHA: Bandhan Bank has conducted a three-day relief programme in the Puri district of Odisha to help the families affected by the Fani cyclone. Standing with the people of Odisha during these difficult times, Bandhan Bank distributed dry and ready-to-eat food packets to 25,000 families in the regions of Nimapada, Brahmagiri and Pipili from May 8 to May 10.
The bank from its own resources distributed 10,000 dry and ready-to-eat food packets and other essential commodities in Nimapada block in the district which has witnessed massive destruction and damages to houses and other infrastructures.
In the second phase, the bank distributed 15,000 relief packets in six panchayats of Brahmagiri block. The bank also distributed 15,000 packets in the NAC area of Pipili block. Bandhan Bank senior officials actively supervised the distribution of relief materials by the staffs and other associates.
Bandhan Bank, along with a volunteer group of its employees provided a helping hand to the people who were deeply affected by the Fani cyclone in Odisha.
