Technip Energies India Boosts Education and Community Development through CSR initiative ‘Seed of Hope’ Program

NEW DELHI (India CSR): In a remarkable achievement that underscores its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Technip Energies India has enabled over 9,000 children to receive an education and instrumental in providing STEM education to over 19,000 girls. through its flagship CSR initiative, the ‘Seed of Hope’ program. This program is a cornerstone of the company’s efforts to foster inclusive growth and sustainable development in the communities where it operates.

A Commitment to Education and Sustainable Development

The ‘Seed of Hope’ program, aligned with Technip Energies India’s group ESG roadmap, “Together by T.EN”, aims to catalyze inclusive growth within local communities. Since its inception in 2015, the program has positively impacted more than 125,000 lives across India with a variety of initiatives.

Davendra Kumar, Managing Director of Technip Energies India, expressed his pride in the program’s accomplishments, stating, “Winning the Indo-French Business Award for our ‘Seed of Hope’ program fills us with joy; it’s a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact in our community and of our team’s hard work. ‘Seed of Hope’ can serve as a global model for effective CSR, delivering significant benefits for people and the environment.”

Broad Impact and Diverse Initiatives

The ‘Seed of Hope’ has supported 58,000 individuals affected by disasters and has been instrumental in providing STEM education to over 19,000 girls. Beyond education, the program has facilitated vocational training for more than 950 youths and has trained 500 women in employment skills, significantly enhancing their livelihoods.

The initiative also focuses on environmental sustainability. It has installed 150 smokeless stoves, 80 solar streetlights, and 100 biogas units in local communities, contributing to a reduction in carbon footprint and promoting renewable energy sources. Additionally, the program has led to the planting of over 40,000 saplings and the recycling of 130,000 kg of waste, demonstrating a profound commitment to environmental health and sustainability.
