The Tech Mahindra SMART Academies for Healthcare focus on offering intensive, high-quality vocational courses to equip youth with the right skills and knowledge to be an integral part of the healthcare ecosystem.
Mumbai: Today, The CSR arm of Tech Mahindra Ltd., Tech Mahindra Foundation (TMF) under its flagship employability program has launched Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare in Navi Mumbai in association with the Prem Dan Social Service Centre, Kharghar. Launched in the year 2012, SMART (Skills-for-Market Training) aims to empower youth from economically backward urban communities. Following the immense success of Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare in Delhi, Mohali, Pune and Mumbai (All Women), it is the Foundation’s fifth healthcare Academy to offer a range of vocational training courses in allied healthcare.
The past two years have underscored the importance of having a strong healthcare infrastructure in the country. Therefore, the Foundation intends to continue working towards building its strengths in the form of SMART Academies for Healthcare across India understanding that there is a severe need for skilled allied healthcare professionals to support the healthcare ecosystem. Strengthening its alignment towards the ‘#MainBhiHero’ movement aimed at creating awareness about the career opportunities for the aspiring youth in the country, this Academy seeks to provide requisite skills towards securing a job with leading hospitals and other healthcare companies.

Located in Navi Mumbai, this newly built allied healthcare training institute comprises of 12000 sq. ft. area with world-class infrastructure equipped with hospital-simulated labs, industry-accepted curriculum, expert and experienced faculty for a best-in-class training and a dedicated placement assistance team to help youth in making a career in the noble healthcare sector.
