UDAIPUR: Hindustan Zinc has been awarded as the Best Organisation Working for Persons with Disabilities by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of Rajasthan (GoR).
The award was conferred by Bhanwar Meghwal – Cabinet Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoR and Akhil Arora – Principal Secretary, Social Justice & Empowerment at a glittering ceremony held in Jaipur on 25 Feb.
On behalf of Hindustan Zinc, the award was received by Princy Sen from CSR team accompanied with Amritanshu Sharma from Corporate Affairs.
Jeevan Tarang Zinc Ke Sang initiative is attempting (along with our partner organizations) to create a more equal world for all and focussing on improving the education systems for 800 people with disabilities through technology, capacity building and sensitization interventions.
