DHARMA: The Newborn Care Week is being observed by Adani Foundation in the vicinity of Adani Dhamra Port as the part of awareness among the Adolescent girls (Future Mothers), Women, Mother in collaboration with the grassroots health and ICDS workers.
Spread over to 105 villages of 8 GPs, the Sanginis under the Programme of Suposhan of Adani Foundation which aims to promote awareness and improve the health condition of Newborn, under 5 malnourished, Adolescent girls, women and mothers, has been observing the week from 15th to 21st November 2019.
As the part of the weeklong initiative an awareness programme was organized in the premises of Baghchhati Primary School with the support of School Management Committee, Anganwadi, Asha worker, SHG.
Above 300 women were participated in the programme with their children.
The students of the school exhibited issue based drama, songs and one act play, which attracted the attention of the villagers present in the programme. The children participated in the programme was awarded with the reading at the end of the programme.
For the wellbeing of the school, two water filters, Fan and Tube lights were also handed over to the school head mistress.
