RAIGARH (India CSR): In a significant push towards educational and infrastructural development under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the Nalanda Campus will be constructed with an investment of Rs. 43 crore in Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.
This major initiative is set to take shape through an MoU signing between NTPC Lara, the district administration, and the municipal administration. The signing ceremony, which will witness the presence of Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, is scheduled for October 27 at the event venue behind the Post Office.
A Step Forward in Regional Development
Finance Minister OP Chaudhary will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various construction projects totaling Rs. 46.58 crore. The projects cover a spectrum of public infrastructure developments aimed at enhancing community facilities and urban amenities for the residents of Raigarh.
Detailed Project Overview
The MoU signing for the Nalanda Campus, budgeted at Rs. 43 crore, will commence at 3 PM near the Post Office. Additionally, a groundbreaking ceremony for a new BT road, funded with over Rs. 3 crore, will take place during the event.
The initiative also includes the inauguration of recreational facilities at Gorkha High School. Scheduled for 4:15 PM, the ceremony will unveil a box cricket arena and a badminton court, developed at an investment of over Rs. 57 lakh.
Community Involvement and Public Invitation
The municipal administration has extended an invitation to the residents and representatives of Raigarh to participate in these events. This development project is expected to bolster infrastructure, promoting recreational and educational growth in the region. Through this CSR-driven project, NTPC Lara aims to make a meaningful contribution to Raigarh’s urban development and social welfare.
